We are currently recruiting an experienced Mobile Maintenance Team Lead at our Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara. The right applicant will be offered a competitive remuneration package, on a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicants will be required to:

• Assist the workshop supervisor in leading the maintenance team on a daily basis to conduct safe, effective maintenance within planned time frames;

• Lead all workshop personal during their day to day tasks and ensuring everyone works safely and efficiently;
• Perform servicing, repair and maintenance in accordance with ConsMin servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation;
• Plan and coordinate maintenance of company mining fleet which consists of predominantly Cat, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment i.e. Hitachi EX 2500 & Komatsu PC 2000, PC1250 Excavators, Cat 980H, 988H, 992K & 988K Loaders, Cat 16M Graders, Cat D10t & 854K Dozers, Cat Haulmax 39000E, 777F/G & 785 C/D Dump Trucks & 777F Water Carts;
• Control daily performance output as well meet safety and environmental KPI’s consistently;
• Manage and process maintenance documents such as work orders, parts requests and planning documents;
• Liaise with the production mining team daily to coordinate tasks.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

• Trade qualified mobile plant fitter – Heavy;
• Supervisory experience in the maintenance field of an operational mine;
• Experience with field service repairs, preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics;
• Ability to understand and interpret OEM manuals and hydraulic/ pneumatic;
• Product knowledge of Hitachi, Komatsu & Cat equipment;
• Strong organisational and time management skills;
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff on all levels;
• Willingness to improve and add knowledge to the team through mentoring and support of the crew
• High level of computer literacy, particularly CAT SIS, ET systems and MS office suite;
• Current HR drivers licence (Desirable).
