BTP is a subsidiary of Ausdrill Limited, and is one of Australia's leading suppliers of mining equipment parts, sales and rental services.
Our lively Hazelmere based workshop in Perth, currently require an experienced trade person who has great experience in rebuilding CAT engines. Primarily you will be required to rebuild CAT 3500 series and some C series (C32 & C27) engines.
By joining our team, you can expect to work in specially setup individual rebuild bays. These bays are fully equipped with networked computers, 1 tonne gantry cranes, component overhaul tables, ample bench space, lockable cupboards and plenty of room.
Combine that with our extensive range of specialised rebuild tooling and overhaul documentation BTP is the place to be if overhauling and rebuilding heavy earthmoving engines is your forte.
General skills, experience and knowledge required:
- Extensive CAT Engine rebuild experience
- Ideally have Heavy Duty Trade certificate plus Cert III – Other trades qualifications considered dependant experience
- Rebuild experience on CAT 3500 and C Series (C32 & C27) engines a distinct advantage
- Competent computer skills and knowledge of Caterpillar SIS.
- Forklift licence an advantage
- Dogging ticket essential – Or ability to get prior to commencement
- Good written and oral communication with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
- A healthy respect for the company and fellow employees.
- Knowledge and the application of OH&S in the workplace.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
