About the Role:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Planner with an Electrical/Instrumentation background. This is a site based position on a 2/2 roster with flights based out of Perth only. The primary purpose of this role is to support our maintenance team in planning/work pack development and execution phase.

You will be responsible for the planning and management of maintenance services systems across multi-disciplinary activities. In hand with scheduling and support of the maintenance team at execution phase.

AGC is currently executing a brownfields services contract for one of the world's largest Energy producers where we are undertaking maintenance works on two sites within the North West Region of WA. The role will include building relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively with our team to manage our client's expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing the maintenance plans and appropriate work instructions.
  • Developing work packs for execution of the work
  • Estimating the job steps and resources required for each of the maintenance plans.
  • Determine the correct parts for the maintenance plans.
  • Auditing and reviewing all plans and confirmation of the routes per maintenance plan.
  • Support the ABU strategic planning and scheduling process.
  • Liaise closely with the Maintenance Team to ensure safe and efficient execution activities are met.
  • Continually promote and demonstrate commitment to a safe working culture.

Experience in the following areas is necessary for a successful application:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within the Oil & Gas Industry Shutdown and Maintenance Planning or in a similar capacity
  • Electrical trade qualification or degree is essential
  • Experience with work order/ work pack development & execution
  • Understanding of estimating processes and associated principles
  • Able to interpret engineering standards, specifications and drawings
  • Previous experience working with JD Edwards
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach with strong work ethics
