GCG Health, Safety & Hygiene is a leading provider of Occupational Health, Safety & Hygiene consulting services committed to helping clients keep their people safe. GCG operates from offices in Perth, Brisbane, Townsville and Singleton, servicing a wide variety of industries throughout Australia.
We are currently seeking applications for full time Occupational Hygiene Consultants to be based in our Perth, WA office working on projects throughout Western Australia.
This position is ideal for those who wish to enhance their skills in the field of occupational hygiene, whilst working within a team of experienced professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide occupational hygiene consulting services to GCG clients including:
- Conduct occupational exposure monitoring;
- Conduct respirator and hearing protection fit testing;
- Conduct occupational hygiene assessments (I.e. noise surveys, vibration assessment etc.)
- Assist in project management to provide successful outcomes for clients.
- Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment.
- Report writing.
Minimum candidate requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, OHS, Science and/or Environmental disciplines.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in full time Occupational Hygiene practice.
- Ability to travel for short term projects.
- A current driver's license.
Desirable candidate requirements:
- Experience within the resources sector (Mining and Oil & Gas).
- Membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH).
