We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Underground team based at Telfer. The current roster for this role 8 days / 6 off.
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join our Underground team based at Telfer. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor and part of a result oriented team, you will assist with operational support for the underground mine including pick-ups, mark-ups, survey station installation and reporting.
As a result, you will be familiar with the use of Leica and Surpac equipment/systems. The current roster for this role 8 days / 6 off.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will be safety focused, enjoy continuous improvement and have a proactive approach to problem solving. You will also meet the following criteria:
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mine Surveying along with underground mine experience;
- Good understanding of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations;
- Sound knowledge of underground survey systems and techniques;
- Exposure to scheduling, monitoring and preparing action plans;
- Experience using Leica series total stations (including instrument calibration) highly regarded;
- MS Word, Excel, Surpac and DESWIK software experience will be highly regarded.
You will be team oriented but have the ability to work alone, and will have effective communication skills working with people of all levels and backgrounds.
