Sandvik is currently looking for a Project Manager to provide a high level of support to maintain the fleet of equipment at our customer's site north of Western Australia. The role is responsible to ensure efficient maintenance of the client's fleet of equipment by working closely with the client to meet their expectations, also meeting Sandvik internal KPI's on performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Coaching, motivating, training, evaluating and managing the Asset Agreement to accomplish the goals and objectives of the business;
- Developing direct customer relationships with client;
- Carry out weekly Maintenance meetings with Key staff members, to discuss key issues and plans for the following week;
- Oversee the planning of work, inventory and resources, using key personnel.
- Attend weekly internal Maintenance Meeting with key site personnel.
- Building sound relationships with Key Stakeholders;
- Identify business growth opportunities.
Your profile
The successful candidate will possess the following requirements;
- 5+ years' experience in maintenance management / site management role in underground mining;
- Exposure to maintenance planning systems such as Maximo would be an advantage;
- Experienced in the supervision of large team of personnel;
- Knowledge of and experience with Sandvik products;
- A relevant trade qualification or a tertiary qualification in Engineering or Project Management.
