Ausdrill Northwest Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Ausdrill Limited, provides exploration drilling services to the iron ore industry throughout Western Australia.
Ausdrill Northwest are currently looking for HD qualified, HD / Drill Fitters to join our expert teams in the Pilbara workign on exploration Drills and associated equipment.
Where Would I be Working?
ANW offer fly in fly out (FIFO ex Perth) arrangements with work rosters comprising of two weeks on and one week off. Work activities are predominately in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia with some sites being located away from the main population areas.
Successful applicants will need to be able to attend inductions and training in Perth at various times.
Applicants will ideally be based in or around the Perth area as there is no travel assistance for those based outside of this area.
What qualifications / experience do I need?
- Australian Recognised Heavy Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Heavy Plant Fitter)
- Previous experience of having worked in a similar role and familiarisation with exploration drill and support equipment is and advantage.
- HR unrestricted drivers licence essential
- Fork Lift Licence an advantage
- CV, DG, RB desirable but not essential
- The ability to work independently and prioritise work activities to support operational requirements
Duties:
- Undertake repairs to plant and equipment.
- Ensure all equipment, plant and machinery is serviced and maintained in a safe condition.
- Ensure all equipment, plant and machinery complies with relevant safety standards.
- Undertake component change-outs as required.
- Diagnosis of faults and breakdowns.
- Raise orders for parts as required.
- Ensure that the field service truck is adequately stocked and maintained.
- Estimate time and materials required to complete jobs.
