Clermont Open Cut Coal Mine is currently seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join our team of technical professionals. This role is residentially based in Clermont. We are a high performing, low cost, truck and shovel operation. This positon will offer variety and opportunity for the right individual.

Reporting to the Mine Planning Superintendent you will ensure you maintain a safe work place while provideing visible direction to the operations. This position is accountable for the development of efficient mine plans, including designing, sequencing, monitoring, reconciliation and reporting of operational activities. While working closely with the mining and maintenance teams to ensure plan inputs are accurate you will have a commitment to identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and be able to add value through partnering with the operations.

As a degree qualified mine planning professional you will have extensive open pit mining experience. Experience in Deswik, Blast Logic, Drill and Blast and mine scheduling software will be highly regarded. You will make recommendations based on your technical expertise and have a proven ability to advice and influence high level decisions.
