We are currently recruiting for Experienced Field Service Technicians to provide quality support and customer service to our LNG customers in the Surat Basin. 

 

The position will offer the successful candidates the opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a team in a variety of ongoing contracts. Primary focus will be on  corrective maintenance, reliability and performance work of Hydraulic Power Units and Drive Heads in the Coal Seam Gas industry. This role has the potential to evolve into opportunities that will allow the candidate to further develop their skills on various other Artificial Lift products and systems.  Currently the locations are throughout the Surat Basin from Ruby Jo to Chinchilla to Woleebee Creek but the role could develop into other locations throughout Queensland and South Australia.

 

You must have the passion and drive to go above and beyond when it comes to safety and customer service.

 

The ideal candidate will have minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role and be trade qualified.  A strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with automotive electrical technology and associated problem solving is required.

Minimum requirements*:

  • Cert III in Automotive or Engineering (mechanical or electrical trade) or equivalent
  • Current and open MR class drivers licence
  • Construction White Card – CPCCOHS1001
  • Test Gas Atmosphere – MSAPMOHS217A
  • Defensive Driver Training - RIIVEH201D & TLIC1051A (Current within the last 2 years)
  • First Aid/CPR (Current within the last 3 years for First Aid and within the last 1 year for CPR)

*Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements of the role, must be willing obtain them   prior to commencement date at their own expense.

Beneficial but not required:

  • Higher Qualification in Electrical Automotive Technology or equivalent (minimum Cert III level)
  • Stationary Gas Fuelled Reciprocating Engine for Type B Gas Appliances – UEPMNT367A & UEPMNT368A
  • QGC Upstream Operations induction and White Hat

The position on offer operates on a 15 Days on / 13 Days off DIDO roster. Transport is provided from Brisbane during Day 1 and Day 15 of your rostered shift.  Transport from other locations is at your own expense.

Candidate must be fit to lift heavy tools and equipment, work autonomously in remote regions and in extreme weather conditions.
