Our operation provides you with the opportunity to live locally and go home every day or stay in our Village for your roster and DIDO.  We are only 130kms from the Perth CBD and approximately 100kms from the coast.  Our roster is 8 days on, 6 days off - a great work/life balance.  That’s not all, this is a large mining and processing operation so you will be working in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

What you will be doing

Reporting to the Residue Disposal Area (RDA) Supervisor you will provide support to the Poly Welders and ensure the RDA is operated within statutory guidelines. You will assist the Poly Welders to achieve optimal operational and production goals in a safe manner whilst ensuring compliance with relevant standards, legal requirements and approvals.

You will demonstrate your commitment to safety and use your experience and judgment to ensure yourself and your workmates stay safe. Your ability to set good examples of work ethic and integrity together with your positive mind set in dealing with work and people will be highly regarded.
 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Site production experience (preferably large scale processing facilities)
• C class manual drivers licence
• High level of communication skills - verbal and written
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge and understanding of the statutory regulations relevant to safety and the environment for the mining industry
• HR class drivers licence (desirable)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
