Gnaala Work Ready Program

 

Do you belong to the Gnaala Karla Booja Native Title Claimant Group or the broader Noongar population?  Are you ready to explore mining as a career?

 

Newmont Boddington Gold is recruiting for participants for the 2018 Gnaala Work Ready Program with a focus on long term, sustainable employment opportunities and career pathways for Aboriginal employees.

 

The program runs for 12 weeks with participants completing a Certificate II – Resource Infrastructure Work Preparation.  At the completion of the program, successful graduates will have the opportunity to transfer to fulltime trainee positions on site.

 

Applicants must:

  • Be Gnaala Karla Booja or Noongar
  • Possess a current manual “C” class drivers licence (an Extraordinary licence will not be accepted)
  • Pass a pre-employment Medical
  • Meet basic literacy and numeracy requirements
