Due to continued growth within our minerals division, we are now seeking applications from suitably qualified diamond drilling supervisors for an immediate start at one our Tier one client’s projects in far north QLD. The project has both underground and surface diamond drill rigs operating

The Role
The role of a Supervisor is to manage day-to-day operations of the project to meet client requirements, in a safe cost-effective manner, while upholding Mitchell Services Values, meeting operational performance targets, participating in safety initiatives, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
FIFO
Suitable candidates will ideally fly directly in and out of Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane to site where camp style meals and accommodation is provided.
About you
You will be ready to accept the challenge and provide leadership to both the underground and surface drilling crews at this multi rig site.

• A minimum of 5-10 years drilling Industry experience is highly desired
• Previous surface and underground supervision experience is high desired.
• An open Drivers Licence is a minimum requirement.
• A current S1,2,3 and G2 is a requirement.
• A current Provide First Aid / CPR is a requirement
• Cert iv in Drilling Operations is highly desired for this role (or the ability to obtain)
• A National Police Clearance is a requirement
• A good level of physical fitness is an inherent requirement
• The ability to pass a pre-employment company medical including drug & alcohol screening and a functional medical exam
