The Meter Data team is responsible for the accuracy of the data received from Distributors with a view to ultimately enabling our Billing team to generate timely and accurate bills.
About the role:
In this role you will coordinate the management of market data within Energy Australia’s MDMS (smart meters) and C1 (Old style “dumb” meters) platforms.
Specifically, this will include:
- Creating process and work instructions for ongoing training and development of other members of the team
- Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders from all Distributors/Meter Data Providers, offshore vendor partners and internally to ensure effective delivery
- Continually review the business processes, operations and strategies to reflect operational best practice
This is an opportunity to bring your market experience to a role where you will be able to drive process improvements and engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
This is a 12 month max term contract with a view to permanency.
About you:
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of the Energy industry
- Previous experience with Meter Data and a good knowledge of how the systems integrate
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- An eye for detail and the ability to suggest and drive process improvements
