About the role:
WorkPac are urgently seeking experienced Process Control Engineers for a 12 month Contract with a local mining organisation. The role is dedicated to contributing to optimisation of operation of the plant. You will do this through ensuring quality and reliability, whilst always maintaining a safe working environment.
Please be aware that this a Bunbury local role, accommodation and relocation are not offered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the Quality and Technical team and ensure adherence to safe and environmentally correct work practices, a proactive approach to teamwork, continuous improvement and cost-reduction.
- Contribute to the setting of the direction for optimising process control by proactively identifying advances in process control technology.
- Exploit the existing functionality of the DCS and SIS through involvement and mentoring of Process Engineers and operational personnel.
- Take the leading role in process control application design, implementation and control loop optimisation.
Requirments:
- Degree in Engineering (Process Instrumentation and Control)
- Experience in Chemical Processing.
- Experience in Process Control
- Experience using SAP
