Electrical Engineer Perth based job 6 month contract immediate start
Your new company
Your new company is a large, multinational mining company who has various sites across WA. Due to the high volume of projects they are requiring an Electrical Engineer.
Your new role
Perth based job 5.2 with occasional site travel.
As an Electrical Engineer you will work on control systems and mining automation for large scale iron ore operations and will have the following responsibilities:
- Electrical Project managing a portfolio of Modifications and Projects to the defined scope, budget, schedule, standards, and specifications and in accordance with relevant processes and standards
- Providing technical input to the electrical control systems and identifying improvements
- Data capturing of the iron ore process systems
- Providing input into the portfolio budgets, plans and schedules and where required, cost-benefit analysis, impact assessments and project business cases to obtain project approvals
- Engaging and coordinating multiple stakeholders during the execution of the works including Operations, EPCM organisations, contractors and functional groups
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience working on process control systems and mining automation
- Significant experience engaging with multiple stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple small projects within a portfolio
- Minimum of C class manual drivers licence
