Summer Leasehand Programme is an innovative, market leading strategy utilised to extract individuals looking at kick-starting their careers within the Oil & Gas industry, or for past Oil & Gas personnel who currently want to get back into the industry however have no qualifications to re-enter.  Tailored for Entry Level personnel, gaining experience within the Oil Rigs in the Cooper Basin and various other locations around Australia, this is an opportunity to establish and ascertain skills within the industry, reaching potentials with a reputable Company that has an unbeatable reputation within the Industry. 

Floorman personnel who have completed their Certificate II in Drilling Onshore Oil & Gas are also encouraged to apply for this programme, as with Leasehands, these roles are an incentive to engage and produce various skills within the Oil & Gas Industry, opportunities to work on Conventional Kelly, Double or Triple Rigs that have slowly been lost by technology, however the most influential and work experienced rig within the industry. 
  
This programme starts between late August and September and is an opportunity to allow successful candidates to complete various Safety Courses (EWP, Confined Space or Breathing Apparatus etc) Prior to commencing the programme. There is also a platform to commence your Certificate II in Drilling Oil & Gas, which is a prospect that is catered by Harness Energy Services.  Catering to both Labour Supply and Training, state of the art Simulators and Rig Platform all located onsite. 

** Note: This is an incentive primarily for South Australian candidates, all other states are encouraged to apply, however Point of Hire is Adelaide CBD ** 

Lease Hands: Must come from an intensive General Labouring background
  
Floormen:  Must hold Cert II in Drilling Oil & Gas (Onshore) and working in the capacity of a FLM for a minimum of 12mths.
   
All Oil & Gas experience is considered, and allocation to relevant roles dependent on the current valid Australian Certifications:
  

• Certificates / Diploma in Drilling Oil & Gas (Onshore) MANDATORY
• SANTOS ID MANDATORY
• Working Safely at Heights
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
• Wellsite Permit to Work Revision 3
• Operate Breathing Apparatus
• Operate Vehicles in the Field
• First Aid & CPR
• Fire Training
• Valid Drivers License
• Eligibility to work in Australia MANDATORY
• Successful applicants will receive relevant training to meet expectations, minus
• Strap clean pipe (LH)
• Assisting DKM with mixing chemicals (LH)
• Working & Assisting FLM & DKM (LH)
• Utilising Tongs under the instruction and guidance of FLM & DKM (LH)

Previous Oil & Gas personnel who have worked in Australia but have travelled overseas, and wish to come back into the Australian market welcomed to apply.  If you do not hold the relevant requirements, we are in a position to offer a RPL in order to transition you back into Australian standards (subject to passing assessment).
