Our client urgently requires a Communication Engineer - Rail for an initial 12-month contract role. The opportunity exists for the role to eventually be 2-3 years in duration. This role is in Perth and our client requires someone to start as soon as possible.
The role requires a Communications Engineer reporting to the Lead Communications Engineer and working with the Communications Designer to develop Engineering documentation for construction Contracts. You will be working through the implementation phase including detail design, construction support for a Pilbara Railway Project.
Areas of work include:
- Fibre Optic Cable route selection, transmission and networking
- Radio Base Station Infrastructure
- Radio Communications
- LTE data transmission
Skills required:
- Good technical writing ability
- Rail Communications experience preferable
- Design experience and aptitude
- Visio design development ability
- Prefer Engineering Degree in Communications Engineering
- Acceptance Testing and Commissioning
- Integrated Team working
