ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position is based out of our Welshpool office and will be reporting to our WA Operations Manager while working closely with our Mobilisation Team. This position will be responsible for the scheduling of our workforce to service client requirements at various mine sites across the Pilbara.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Schedule labour in advance in preparation for mobilisation across various client sites
- Plan and schedule labour for shutdown/unplanned work while adhering to systems and processes
- Develop timelines and interpret detailed Gantt charts
- Ensure all employees meet job requirements
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Mining operations background
- 3+ years previous experience in a scheduling role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent scheduling skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Capability and flexibility to operate in a dynamic work environment, and respond quickly to changing business needs
- Exceptional time management skills
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
- Exposure to SAP or similar systems
- Microsoft Project
- Primavera
