We currently have an opportunity for an HSE Specialist to join our dedicated team of HSE Professionals in the development and implementation of HSE systems and initiatives and the provision of support across our Maintenance & Industrial Services (M&IS) Division. This role is based in our Perth Head Office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the M&IS HSEQ Manager in delivering strategic HSE Objectives;
- Assist in the completion of Division, Business Unit and or Group HSE performance reports;
- Periodical reporting & presenting integrated information at a Divisional level;
- Consult and engage with various business units to provide advice on application and compliance to the HSE Management Systems;
- Identify HSE trends through the analysis of various information sources, research and develop initiatives to drive improvements;
- Maintain integrity of data sources and management systems;
- Collaborating with the broader HSE team on incident reporting;
- Ensure all processes and activities comply with relevant HSE legislation and Company standards.
To be Successful in this Role you will possess:
- Post-graduate Certificate or Diploma in OHS as a minimum;
- Strong communication skills in addition to a high level of attention to detail, initiative and drive to be a contributing member of the team;
- Strong technical HSE skills and knowledge of contemporary HSE management practices including practical application of Root Cause Analysis;
- Familiarity with HSE Auditing, Behavioural Modelling and study of Human Factors training is desirable;
- Experience in a similar corporate HSE role.
