Chandler Macleod is currently seeking a Fixed Plant Process Operators to work an exciting 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth. This is a great opportunity to secure an ongoing role with one the industries large Iron Ore producers. Our client offers a great competitive rate, excellent conditions and has a high standard of safety.
To be considered for this role you must have the following experience:
• Wet/Dry Fixed Plant
• Mobile Plant operating experience and tickets
• Control Room experience (CITECT, Simplicity)
• Isolation Officer experience
• SAP experience
• Working at Heights ticket
• Remote Control operation of Balance Machines
• Supervisor / Leading Hand experience is highly desirable
• Safety first attitude
• A high level of flexibility & team work
• High level of communication skills - written and verbal
As an important member of the team, your areas of responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Assist Supervisors in day-to-day Operation of OPF and TLO activities
• Openly display positive attitudes towards work, encourage and build morale on teams
• Identify, control and report and Hazards and Safety concerns in an efficient and timely fashion
• Monitor, adjust and operate assets at Fixed Plant to meet Fixed Plant KPIs
• Actively engage in Area Ownership and Housekeeping activities
• Follow and support FMG Corporate, Site and Fixed Plant procedures
• Ensure compliance to SAP and Work Management Practices within Operations Team
• Follow Escalation Process and standard operating procedures for efficient communications and operations.
• Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in an efficient and timely manner
• Self-manage fitness for work in accordance with FMG policies
• Ensure performance, attendance and leave compliance in line with FMG procedure
You will be expected to hold the safety of yourself and others in the highest regard and maintain the integrity of both Chandler Macleod and the client. A strong work ethic and proven work history will be highly regarded.
