We now have exciting opportunities for Mechanical Supervisors who hold a Rope Access Qualification (All Levels) to join the Shutdown Team and work across our 30+ sites throughout Australia.

Some of the future dates of our works are:

  • 30th July - 6th August
  • 31st July - 7th August
  • 14th August - 20th August
  • 18th August - 29th August
  • 28th August - 3rd September
  • 30th August - 6th September
  • 9th September - 19th September
  • 10th September - 15th September
  • 23rd September - 1st October
  • 25th September - 4th October

This opportunity is offered on a casual contract with high volume and ongoing shutdown work available.

The recruitment process for this role will be conducted with an interview (Skype Interview if based interstate), Pilbara Access funded drug and alcohol screen and pre-employment medical which will be completed prior to job offer. Once an employment agreement is signed, you will be invited to complete Pilbara Access funded industry based training and inductions (valued at $1500+) and will receive your first work allocations.

If you do not have an IRATA ticket, but meet the requirements, the Company will consider paying the course costs of this ticket should you be successful in this position.

What you need to join our company!

  • A willing, determined and committed attitude to safety;
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar position;
  • IRATA qualification - preferred but not essential;
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter;
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets- or willing to obtain;
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and ongoing Drug and Alcohol Testing;
  • National Police Clearance that has been obtained in the last 6 months and
  • A Construction Card.

  • Excellent understanding of the mining operations and practices;
  • Cultivate positive relationships through effective communication and consultation;
  • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development;
  • Always work in a safe, efficient and diligent manner;
  • Interpret and read maintenance plans and technical information;
  • Comply with International Standards and
  • Participate in Tool Box and End of Shift review Meetings.
