With plenty of work coming through, BTP, MT Thorley are currently seeking an experienced and trade qualified Component Rebuild Mechanic to join our great team.
By joining us you will become an integral part of our team that provides quality products and services to a range of clients.
The component room is fully equipped with networked computers, overhead cranes, component overhaul tables, ample parts shelves, tooling cupboards and plenty of room. Combine that with our range of specialised rebuild tooling and overhaul documentation BTP Parts is the place to be if overhauling heavy earthmoving components is your forte.
Applicants must be based in or around the Mt Thorley area.
General skills, experience and knowledge required:
- Automotive or Engineering Trade certificate with component rebuild experience on primarily Caterpillar equipment essential
- Rebuild experience on one or more of the following essential: Transmissions, torque converters, diffs and final drives, wheel groups
- Competent computer skills and knowledge of Caterpillar SIS
- Good written and oral communication with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organisation.
- Knowledge and the application of OH&S in the workplace
- Forklift, Dogging and Rigging tickets an advantage but not essential
