Location
Thiess' Curragh North Coal Project is located 30km north of Blackwater in the Bowen Basin.
Role
Thiess is currently looking for a motivated and energetic Mining Supervisor to lead a mining crew to ensure daily operational mine plan objectives are achieved at Curragh North.
Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be responsible for delivering and exceeding production KPI targets in a safe and efficient manner. You will have a strong focus on achieving results and actively seek continuous improvement, driving a culture of safety and efficiency with like-minded professionals.
Minimum Requirements
- Open-cut coal mining experience
- Substantial operating experience
- Experience as a mine supervisor
You will have proven leadership skills, excellent communication and a dedicated commitment to supporting and driving your team's performance.
A keen eye for detail and demonstrated initiative will see you succeed in this role.
