Due to an increase in recently awarded mining contracts our client are now seeking applications from suitably experienced Crushing Supervisors, for several permanent positions across our client’s current and future FIFO crushing contracts.
Key Criteria
Reporting to the Project Manager and overseeing onsite production teams, the successful applicant will be expected have strong leadership skills and previous supervisory experience within an active mining environment, covering the following criteria:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the contracting and/or mining services industry
- Strong technical experience across mining operations, specifically mobile crushing, screening and ROM supervisory experience
- Prior experience managing Mobile Crushing plants, while knowledge of Terex Finlay and McCloskey equipment would be highly beneficial
- Valid WA Drivers Licence
- Ideally hold a current nationally recognised Loader tickets
- Current Senior First Aid, Apply CPR Certificate
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work within and lead a busy production and crushing teams
- Able to manage the delegation of daily tasks to on site personnel
- Work autonomously if required, demonstrating strong time management skills
- Demonstrate high levels of initiative and ability to think on your feet
- High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong focus on personal and company HSE procedures
- Must be able to pass a thorough pre-employment medical and D&A test if required
- Must be able to obtain or pass a National Police Clearance
- Must be either an Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
These roles are ideally suited to experienced applicants with previous hands on Crushing Supervisory experience within the hard rock mining sector and able to work regionally on a 2:1 Roster.
