The Opportunity – Mine Planner- Appin
Based on site, the purpose of the Mine Planner is to develop and communicate the integrated plans and schedules for production and maintenance activities to enable safe, well planned and coordinated work.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Build and communicate accurate work plans and schedules from one week to two years to enable efficient execution by Production teams
- Work with production teams to gather planning inputs and constraints and to gain endorsement of plans and schedules to be used for execution
- Provide guidance on critical path tasks to be delivered
- Provide alignment of the production plan against the forecast
- Identify risks and opportunities in the production areas
- Oversee the handover of the weekly plan schedule to production teams
- Review and report of daily and weekly schedule against achievement

- Bachelor of Engineering- Mining (or equivalent)
- NSW Statutory qualifications (desired)
- Operational exposure in the coal industry
- Previous experience in planning/scheduling
