Health and Safety Advisor
Our client is a growing mining house with both open pit operations in WA. In this role you will ensure the health and safety of mining staff on site through health and safety audits and regular compliance checks to certify that all state and federal regulations are met.
Reporting to: Registered Manager
Responsibilities:
- Plan, Schedule and Conduct Safety Audits at Mine Site
- Ensure Accident Free Workplace
- Audit Contractors to Ensure HSE Compliance
- Manage Incident Reporting
- Safety Analysis and Incident Investigation
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree or Diploma within OHS, Engineering or Similar is Preferred
- 2 Years+ Mining Industry Experience
- Must have Occupational First Aid Qualification, preferably higher
- Excellent Communicator who can mentor site based staff on H+S Procedure
