Graduate Mine Surveyor

Our client is a well established Mining House with Base Metals operations within Australia. They seek to add a graduate surveyor to their team at their Underground mine in NSW. Working a Monday to Friday residential roster this role will suit someone who wants to be home every night with family and enjoys the technical challenge of a busy underground operation.

Reports to - Technical Services Manager

Duties

  • Provide Surveying Services to Working Underground Mine
  • Design Verification to ensure Standard Underground Excavation Procedure
  • Liaison with and offer advice to Geology, Environmental and Health & Safety Teams
  • Assist in the Building and Updating of Accurate 3D Mine Models

Qualifications

  • Relevant Degree or Diploma
  • Experience with IT/Mining Software
  • Strong Communication Skills
