We require an experienced Asset Integrity / Reliability Engineer to provide support to the Maintenance team for both U/G mobile equipment and fixed plant. The engineer will be required to conduct analytical work to identify and quantify equipment performance issue and facilitate activities to improve the availability and reliability of the fixed plant and mobile equipment.
A minimum of 3+ years' experience as an Asset Integrity or Reliability Engineer within the mining industry is required. The position will be site based in Kalgoorlie, requires someone available to start ASAP, and offers a very competitive remuneration package. The contract duration at this stage is 3+ months.
Duties will include:
- Condition monitoring programme owner. Vibration analysis and interpretation of results
- Monitor performance of Ball Mill, Mill motor and other critical plant
- Keep the workforce informed of plant performance via data reporting
- Asset integrity Planning. Corrosion mitigation. Tanks & Structures
- Classified Plant compliance and management.
- Identify and recommend process/equipment improvement opportunities and solutions to process and equipment defects.
- Review work management KPI results and analyse. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement i.e. Availability, Utilisation, MTBF.
- Interpret and react to Oil Sampling Results Liaise with laboratory to determine action plan.
- Monitor equipment history notes. Seek trends and data to minimise breakdown
- Manage RCA process
A suitable candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
- 3+ years as an Integrity / Reliability Engineer within the mining industry.
- Experience in performing the above duties
- A strong commitment to safety.
- Engineering degree or similar.
- Advanced leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- C class drivers licence.
- Availability to start work ASAP.
