QE Innovations is an Australian owned and operated business. We exclusively represent equipment known for its outstanding quality and reliability, such as Hauhinco, THIELE, Gruenewald, Krummenauer and Parker Conflow. Due to growth in our business, we seek a service engineer to service and maintain longwall equipment underground and grow our market presence.
Key objectives of the role are:
- carry out all work in a safe manner
- ensure the needs of the customer are met
- provide quality repairs and service in a timely fashion
- problem solve and fault find any issues on site
Experience working with underground equipment or pump systems is required. You should also display high level interpersonal skills, a friendly outgoing attitude, be decisive, work well in a team and complete all work to high trade standards.
Full product training will be provided to the successful candidate. In addition to a competitive salary package, a company car, phone and laptop will be supplied. Ideally you will be living or willing to relocate to the Newcastle/Hunter Valley region as the primary purpose of the role is to service the longwall pump stations of our customers in the Hunter Valley. From time to time you may be required to assist other sites in NSW and QLD and attend our workshop in Port Kembla NSW. Due to the high reliability of the equipment, call-outs and weekend work are rare, however you must be available should the need arise.
