We are looking for a skilled plant operator specialising in the operation of excavators with a grab attachment. This position will be based at our Menangle Quarry on a full-time basis.
Previous experience in Quarry operations will be highly regarded. Operators with experience in other machinery is not essential but would be beneficial.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Sorting and stockpiling materials with the excavator;
- Loading trucks and dogs;
- Feeding crushers;
- Adhering to site guidelines and safety procedures; and
- Additional duties as directed by the quarry manager.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience in Excavator operation including:
- Loading truck & dogs (including using weigh scales);
- Stockpiling and Sorting material;
- Feeding crushers and screens;
- Have a big focus on safety; and
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
