A newly created opportunity has arisen for a Production Engineer that will be based in their Brisbane office and attend site visits as required. Reporting into the Area Lead you will support by providing data foundations to which key decisions are based; build and maintain the database; and generate documentation and presentations used by the Production Engineering team.
Key accountabilities:
- Create and maintain the well failure database
- Track and file pump tear-down analysis report
- Load relevant static well data into production databases
- Production forecasting administration
- Maintain data sharing for Operations
- Support PSE on Deferral coding for wells
- Support the team on locked in potential classification and risk and opportunity listing
- Reviewing the daily exception-based algorithm and providing summary to the team
Knowledge and experience required:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical) preferred
- Experience in using Excel, Spotfire
- Working knowledge on PI and VBA
- Experience with databases and technical problem solving
- Ability to conduct technical presentations and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a close-knit team
