The Role & The Team
In order to support our operational growth through 2018 and beyond, we are seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Planner for our Wodgina team working a 2:1 roster to start with and moving to an 9:5 roster over time.


Your Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop, implement and maintain medium and long-term shutdown maintenance plans on a 6 and 12 month maintenance plan
  • Preparation, planning & implementation of maintenance schedules
  • Interface the schedule with the site budget
  • Review impacts, test scenarios and propose solutions to competing schedule demands
  • Monitor resource availability and allocation across areas
  • Procurement, expediting and ongoing communication with suppliers and warehouse to ensure material availability
  • Providing communication channels, interface and coordination between sub-contractors, projects team and operations
  • Liaise with appropriate departments to address any proposed modifications to project scope, schedule or budget
  • Monitor actual progress (at site level), compare to baseline and report progress and outcomes against schedule
  • Maintain and foster a working environment which prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service


Your Experience & Skills

  • Mechanical trade background preferred
  • Crushing and Wet Plant planning experience preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling and budgeting activities to establish maintenance development plans with strong analytical skills
  • Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral
  • Sound knowledge of maintenance planning philosophies
  • Able to plan multiple activities for remote areas with knowledge of logistical issues
