OHMS Hygiene is looking for experienced and highly credentialed Occupational Hygiene Technicians for our growing business. The role will be for 6 months initially with possibility of extension.
Our focus is the right candidate, we require a long term relationship with a person who is willing to grow with us and let us mentor them to the next stage of their career.
We are predominantly a resources consultancy business so your experience in this market is highly regarded.
The role itself is to support our hygiene technician contracts and could be working within the Pilbara or the Goldfields, the roster is ex Perth.
Required
- Surface Ventilation Technician - Certificate IV
- Competent in use of Microsoft Word, Excel
- Personal noise sampler
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hold a current manual driver's license
- You must be eligible to work in Australia
- You must be able to obtain a police clearance
Desirable
- Tertiary degree in an environmental or science based discipline
- Fibre counting to NOHSC
- Noise Officer
- AIOH member or or the ability to become a member.
- Mine site experience undertaking personal air contaminant monitoring and noise dosimetry
- 4WD certificate
- Construction Blue/White Card
