The Company
An Australian-owned Engineering firm that provides mining equipment installation, maintenance and inspections for mining clients worldwide.
The Role
A 6 month contract is available initially, with the potential to extend or become permanent, dependent on project volumes. Day time hours, Monday to Friday, are to be expected in this newly created role which reports into the General Manager. The following duties can be expected:
• Liaise with customers to identify requirements and provide costing
• Support field personnel to provide quick turnaround of products and services as required
• Coordinate the workflow to ensure that each project is being delivered efficiently and effectively
• Oversee projects from conception through to implementation
• Provide project administration, including financials and scheduling
Ideal Skills & Experience
Desirable applicants will possess:
• BEng or technical background or experience relevant to mining equipment services
• Experience in costing and quoting of mining equipment
• Demonstrated experience in project management/coordination
• Exposure to working alongside a project manager
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Full working rights in Australia
