SMS Innovative Mining are seeking applicants from experienced Boilermakers who are Kalgoorlie residents to join our team on a 7:7 roster.

It is essential that the successful applicant can demonstrate a solid work history across general fabrication, maintenance and modifications on large mobile mining equipment

You must be able to combine your accuracy with quality and speed, as we work within a short turn around production time frame.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for the supervision of several workshop apprentices.  

You must have extensive experience on:

• Repairs and Maintenance of a variety of large mobile mining equipment.

• Bucket repairs and refurbishment

• Tray work

• Arc Air Gouging experience.

To be considered you will need:

• Full trade qualification

• Minimum of 5 years' workshop experience

• Ability to adhere to strict OHS policies and procedures

• Reading and interrupting engineering drawings

• Have a good work ethic & positive attitude, with the desire to work as part of a team.

• Can achieve targets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Hold a current driver's licence (HR essential)

• National Police Clearance (within 12 months) or willing to obtain one
