Pit Technician
Matsa Resources Ltd (ASX:MAT) is seeking an Open Pit Technician with some previous experience to assist with its Red Dog Gold mine located near Laverton, WA.
The Role
The successful applicant will be self-motivated and willing to work in a small team environment. The applicant should have experience with:
- Working in a drill and blast open pit operation
- Ore mark-ups
- Ore spotting
- ROM checks
- Safe working in an open pit mining environment
The applicant will be required to:
- Have a current Manual Driver's Licence
- Provide a Police clearance
- Able to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol test
- Excellent communication skills
The role is based on a 2 on 1 off roster, either self-DIDO from Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth with accommodation at Matsa’s modern camp at its nearby Red October mine site. The role is offered on an initial casual basis with opportunity to progress into a full time permanent position with Matsa’s Red October or Exploration teams.
