SGS Minerals division are excited to recruit for an experienced sales person with extensive understanding of the Minerals and Mining industry, to provide sales expertise and leadership to our western region.
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager - Minerals, you will be responsible for the operational and developmental sales of the Minerals division throughout Western Australia ensuring every business opportunity is explored and captured.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We're seeing a highly experienced salesperson, with extensive knowledge of the Minerals market. You will:
- Prepare sales plans in line with strategy that contribute to operational revenue growth.
- Recognise business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing tactical sales options.
- Actively develop new sales opportunities with the existing customer base by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; to ultimately recommend solutions.
- Strategically identify growth opportunities for Western Australia through sales development and market based information.
- Convert opportunities via the SGS Minerals lead processes.
- Develop, manage and maintain CRM records in line with policy and the CRM strategy
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
If you have extensive knowledge and understanding of the Minerals Industry, plus demonstrate the following, we look forward to reading your application:

University degree in a Science related program with a strong preference in Analytical Chemistry and or, Geochemistry or a related field.

Extensive experience in a minerals laboratory environment.

Expert working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry
