Seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join a consultancy working on a new mine project, the role will be based in Perth CBD and will be an initial 12 month contract with a possibility of extension.

Job requirements:

• Senior Project Engineer with over 10 years’ experience on mining and infrastructure projects.
• Successful record overseeing all phases of construction projects including engineering, project management, subcontractor management, site supervision and reporting.
• Demonstrated understanding of policies, processes and practices involved in managing project delivery and commissioning.

Job responsibilities:

• Specific role requirements are preparation of sampling design criteria and scope of work, equipment and control system specifications, HAZOPs, CHAZOP and LOPAs, risk reviews, planning/scheduling, sub-contractor supervision, preparation of FAT and SAT test specifications for lump and fines sample stations, robotic sample preparation cells and analysis laboratory.
