Permit Supervisor
Roster: 4/3
FIFO ex: Perth
Key accountabilities will include:
- Managing the Permit to Work system documents such as work permits, isolation lists and risk assessments to ensure that safe systems of work are maintained
- Recognition of risks and potential risks and implementing appropriate actions
- Timely administration of records, incidents and any reports
- Active engagement with internal and external parties to ensure all rundown, run-up, isolations and permit plans are develop as per the maintenance/shut schedule
- Coach and mentor the Permit teams focusing on continuous improvement
- Leading Permit interaction meetings with a risk based approach to ensure permits reflect the Maintenance/shut schedule
Qualifications and skills required:
- Knowledge of process plants maintenance systems and procedures
- Sound understanding of the Permit to Work process and requirements
- Thorough understanding of hazards associated with maintenance activities within complex process plants
- Experience with risk assessment processes (JHA, Take 5, WWH, CS etc)
- Administrative experience (data entry, word processing, document management etc.,)
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project
- Experience in electronic permit systems desirable
