Due to an ever-increasing amount of incoming work, we are currently seeking applications from highly skilled and safety focused Shutdown Planner / Scheduler to join our Asset Services Division in Western Australia on the Paraburdoo site.  The role will be initially on a casual basis for upcoming shutdown work for an immediate start.  The successful applicant will be required for 4-6 weeks with the opportunity of further ongoing work on similar projects.
 
To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:
  • Trade background, Iron Ore, Mining Experience desirable
  • Minimum 5 years? experience in shutdown scheduling and planning
  • Minimum 5 years? experience in Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office package
  • Demonstrated experience in SAP
  • Quality Management systems knowledge and understanding
  • Demonstrated experience with Primavera P6
Desirable skills and experience include:
  • Previous experience working in Mining and Resources Industry

  • Coordinate and control daily shutdown maintenance work orders to meet plant operations and reliability objectives
  • Superior written and verbal communication
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner

  • Work effectively within the UGL / client team
  • Presentation to management team as required
