As our next Mining Supervisor reporting to the Mining Superintendent you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
Location
Peak Downs is located 6km south-east of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.
Role
Thiess is currently looking for a motivated and energetic Mining Supervisor to lead a mining crew to ensure daily operational mine plan objectives are achieved at Peak Downs.
You will be responsible for delivering and exceeding production KPI targets in a safe and efficient manner. You will have a strong focus on achieving results and actively seek continuous improvement, driving a culture of safety and efficiency with like-minded professionals.
Minimum Requirements
- Open-cut coal mining experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of mining equipment and processes
- Experience as a mine supervisor
You will have proven leadership skills, excellent communication and a dedicated commitment to supporting and driving your team's performance.
A keen eye for detail and demonstrated initiative will see you succeed in this role.

7 days on, 7 days off, rotating shift roster.
