We are looking for Workshop Technicians to join our Perth, WA team.

Schlumberger Peak Well Systems is seeking the services of suitably qualified Workshop Technicians to join our team in Perth, Western Australia. These positions during busy periods may be required to work a shift roster, including night-shift.

The successful candidates will work in a team comprised of other assembly and workshop technicians who will be jointly responsible in ensuring the timely movement of tools through the workshop, with specific emphasis on the highest quality output and meeting tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Reside in Australia and have the full right to live and work in Australia.
• No travel restrictions.

• Daily workshop duties, including but not limited to:

• Reading work orders
• Use of AIMS database
• Using hand tools
• Sandblasting
• Deburring
• Engraving
• Pressure washing

• Assist the Assembly Technicians when required in the assembly and testing of Peak products, ensuring the highest standards are maintained and on-time delivery is met.
• Undertake minor in-house machining such as drilling.
• Logistics functions including the despatch of product for surface treatment and finished products to Peak Clients.
• Undertake driving duties as required, delivering and/or collecting Peak products from external supply chain and other deliveries/collections as necessary.
• Responsible for ensuring that the highest QHSE standards are maintained and all policies, guidelines, standards and lawful directions are followed.
• Complete all training requirements and be willing to contribute to HSE reporting.
• Maintain Peak 5S standards with the workshop.
• Undertake regular cleaning and tidying of the assembly department to ensure the highest standard of presentation is maintained.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and relevant experience/knowledge.
• Confident in the use of hand tools.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing drawings required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work unsupervised while clearly executing instructions and meeting deadlines.
• Understanding and capability to adapt to changing deadlines.
• Good QHSE awareness and understanding.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid driver’s licence essential.
• Forklift licence advantageous.
