About the Role
WorkPac have multiple opportunities for experienced Project Managers to work on HME Delivery projects.
Successful candidates will provide contractor management, construction expertise, project management and implementation skills to implement projects/tasks safely in a sustainable, timely, suitable and cost-effective way; in line with our clients business goals.
This is a FIFO role from Perth with a 8/6 roster (possible 7/7) working 12 hour days with an expected duration of 6-12mths.
Responsibilities & Duties:.
- Understanding the particular characteristics of construction and applying sound judgement at each phase of the project’s construction until handover.
- Identify, monitor and manage key issues and relationships at all phases of construction.
- Combine technical expertise of the Project Services integrated project management systems and processes to deliver superior results.
- Build positive and trusting relationships across Project Services integrated team.
- Cost management and control of a project budget.
- Pre-shut management works – schedule, shut meetings, and control all input into the site shutdown process which includes all SAP data required.
- Manage mobilisation, implementation and close out Contractor documentation. (incl mobe docs, mgmt. plans, L2RA, dig/penetration permit, ITP’s etc)
- Track and review Contractors’ schedules and manage interface with Site/Operations
- Run and document weekly construction meetings during implementation.
- Drive and implement works procedures, problem solving, as well as review Contractors’ planned works.
- Review and implement plans, documents and standards
Skills & Experience:
- RTIO CMS experience
- Trade certificate ( Diesel, Plant mechanic, HD Fitter)
- Demonstrated contractor management
- Project management
- Supervisory experience / frontline management
- Right to work in Australia
