Due to an ever-increasing amount of incoming work, we are currently seeking applications from highly skilled and safety focused Shutdown Scheduler to join our team on a casual basis for upcoming shutdown work. Please note, Gladstone locals are encouraged to apply.
 
To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:
  • Trade background
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in shutdown scheduling
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Microsoft Project
  • Previous experience in Microsoft office package
Desirable skills and experience include:
  • Previous experience working in Digestion or Boilers
  • Previous experience working on an Alumina Refinery
Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and control daily shutdown maintenance work orders to meet plant operations and reliability objectives
  • Superior written and verbal communication
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner

  • Work effectively within the UGL / client team
  • Presentation to management team as required
