Due to an ever-increasing amount of incoming work, we are currently seeking applications from highly skilled Shutdown Planner / Schedulers to join our Mobilisation Team in our Perth Head Office. This position is Monday- Friday, 38 hours per week with additional hours as required.
To be considered for a role it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in Mining and Resources Industry
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in shutdown scheduling and planning (resources, vehicles, budgets)
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office package and advanced computer skills
- The ability to think outside the square in order to meet client demands
- Superior written and verbal communication
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
- Extreme attention to detail
Desirable skills and experience include:
- Trade background, Iron Ore, Mining Experience desirable
- Demonstrated experience with Primavera P6
Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and control daily shutdown maintenance work orders to meet client operations and company reliability objectives
- Schedule labour in advance in preparation for mobilisation across various client sites
- Plan and schedule labour for shutdown/unplanned work while adhering to systems and processes
- Ensure all employees meet job requirements
