Monadelphous Maintenance and Industrial Services division supplies long-term maintenance contracts, shutdowns, execution of minor capital projects and asset integrity works to blue chip clients across Australia.

We work collaboratively with our customers within the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Rail sectors to ensure optimal plant productivity, integrating with customer systems to develop and execute maintenance work.

Monadelphous has a exciting opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Administration professional to become an integral part of our Divisional HSEQ Management Team based at our head office in Victoria Park.

As an influential and organised team member, this role is required to be a key contributor to the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of our Divisional integrated HSEQ team. The role will be based out of our Victoria Park office.

Key responsibilities for this position will include the following:

  • Organise information into HSEQ forms, registers, reports and/or databases
  • Maintain and store HSEQ related information and respond to requests for currently available information
  • Assemble and maintain HSEQ documents and records, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance, this will include scheduling audits and maintaining the audit schedule
  • Entry of audit data into databases and compiling statistics and summary data
  • Provide administrative services directly to the M&IS Division, responding to enquiries regarding HSEQ policies, procedures and initiatives

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certificate IV in OH&S or similar is preferred
  • Well-developed written communication skills with the ability to prepare HSEQ reports, work instructions and processes for the workforce
  • Basic understanding of HSEQ legislation and industry standards and their relevance
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) capabilities
  • Ability to identify HSEQ risks and escalate as appropriate
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels and in diverse situations
