Boddington Mechanical & Auto Electrical Pty Ltd (“Bodmec”) is a specialised provider of on-site Mechanical, Auto Electrical & Maintenance services. Established in 2009 and is owned and operated by mobile plant mechanics, with extensive experience throughout the state of W.A.

Due to the growth of our business we currently have opportunities for the following positions;

• Mobile Plant Mechanics;
• Auto Electricians;
• Boilermaker / Welders
• Underground Fitters; and
• Blast Hole Drill Fitters.

Positions are located in various locations including;

• North West;
• Goldfields; and
• Boddington.  

We offer very competitive pay rates, ranging between $59.00 to $63.00 per hour, weekly pay cycle and an annual $3,000 tooling/training allowance.

We can provide a range of roster options on an ongoing DIDO/FIFO basis or casual rebuild projects/shutdowns. Rosters include: 7/7, 8/6, 2/1 and flexible casual rosters.

To be successful for one of these roles, you will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Trade qualified - you will need to have an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Certificate III or equivalent);
• Minimum of 3 years post trade experience;
• Solid work history involving the repairs and maintenance on a wide range of large earthmoving equipment, drills or underground equipment;
• Current drivers licence (HR preferred);
• Able to perform workshop and pit duties as required;
• Adhere to all Health and safety requirements at all times;
• Pass a full medical and D&A test;
• CN Crane, EWP, WAH, Dogging tickets are beneficial, but not essential;
• RTIO, BHP, FMG, Roy Hill, South32 and NBG inductions would also be advantageous; and

  Solid knowledge of the following;

• CAT Equipment - Dozers D9-11, Off Hwy Trucks 777-793 C-F, 988-994 Loaders, 14-24 H-M Graders
• Atlas Copco L8, D65, DML, Pit Viper 235-271
• Reedrill SKS, SKSF, SKSS drills
• Sandvik/Tamrock Drills
• Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi Shovels and Diggers
• Atlas Copco/Elphinstone Tamrock Underground Equipment
