Neptune has an exciting opportunity for an Asset Coordinator to join our Diving team. Reporting to our Perth Base Manager, this role is responsible for managing the scheduled maintenance, system development, certification and compliance of diving assets and equipment. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of Standards including: IMCA, DNV, Dive Standards and Australian Standards to name a few.  This role also provides back-up cover for the Perth Base Manager on occasions.  

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage certification and compliance of all diving asset and equipment, in accordance with relevant standards
  • Manage and maintain a rolling repairs and maintenance schedule, identifying minor and major services
  • Forecast costings in advance associated with the Maintenance Schedule
  • Manage and champion the Relegen Asset DNA database for all assets throughout their full lifecycle until redundancy
  • In conjunction with the Perth Base Manager, delegate and manage work scopes for Repair & Maintenance activities
  • Ensure all equipment is purchased in line with Neptune policies and procedures
  • Manage regional asset transfers
  • Develop, implement and supervise maintenance of charge back and allocation process for diving equipment
  • Responsible for the negotiation, implementation and monitoring of various asset programs
  • Prepare regular reports to show equipment manifests, utilisation, maintenance, location and lead time for operations
  • Administer and process all paperwork and data entry required to maintain records in line with organisational and legislative requirements, including the record keeping of all registers, reporting systems, auditing and certifications
  • Conduct regular audits and update manifests of all assets and equipment located at the Bases
  • Review and update policies and procedures in line with developments in legislation
  • Comply with legal requirements and approved HSEQ policies, procedures and instructions
Selection Criteria:
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Asset Coordination or in a similar role
  • Engineering Diploma (desirable) 
  • ADAS Part 3 (or equivalent) Diving certification (desirable)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel 
  • Comprehensive understand of Standards including but not limited to: IMCA, Australian Standards, DNV, Electrical, Rigging & Lifting and Air Breathing Standards
  • Knowledge of Diving, ROV, Survey or Subsea equipment (desirable)
  • A sound working knowledge of offshore/civil marine operations, specifically diving and/or ROV and vessel operations in accordance with imposed legislative requirements (desirable) 
  • Experience in managing an asset database and end-to-end asset management processes
  • Experience working in a mechanical and/or electrical instrument background (desirable)
  • General understanding of contractual terms and conditions
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks
