Position
Onshore Oil/Gas Operations Supervisors
We are seeking motivated individuals with prior hydrocarbon operating experience to work at our client's Onshore facility in Gippsland.
In these key positions you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of operations personnel to achieve production and maintenance plans and targets in a safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally sound manner. You will also be responsible for number of other critical areas such as but not limited to frontline response to emergencies and incidents, process integrity and optimization, safety and risk management, staff training and development, reporting and documentation control.
Supporting your aptitude and knowledge, you will need to demonstrate total commitment to our client's values including safety, quality, integrity, ethics and business controls. An open communicator, your ability to build sound working relationships with all stake holders will enable you to work effectively within a strong team-based culture.
To be successful in this role you will have operations supervision experience within the oil and gas, petrochemical or complex manufacturing industries.
Location
Gippsland - Locals only need apply or persons willing to relocate.
This is not a FIFO Role.
Experience
5 – 10 Years' experience in the Hydrocarbon (Oil and Gas) industry within Operations.
Qualifications
Min - Certificate III (Certificate IV and above will be highly regarded) in Process Plant Operations or equivalent industry experience.
You must be able to satisfactorily able to pass the following mandatory checks prior to start of employment:
- National Police Clearance
- Role specific Pre Employment Medicals
- A comprehensive drug and alcohol testing regime, both prior to employment and during employment
Employment/Operating Conditions
- Contract full time positions
- Rotating 12 hour day / night shifts
- Average 35 hours per week, reasonable overtime will be required
- Locally based (not FIFO)
