Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors Pty Ltd is a privately owned West Australian company with 40 years of experience in the business of providing service and support to the civil contracting, mining and resource industries
The Role:
We are going through an exciting growth stage and require the services of an experienced Area Manager to oversee our expanding operations.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the development of Rapid Crushing & Screening Contractors by providing expertise in tendering on business opportunities
- Liaise with clients to ensure that all opportunities relevant to the business are identified
- Maintain sound relationships with the Mines Department Inspectorate based on mutual respect
- Successfully cost and engage all contract services necessary to complete projects efficiently on time and budget
- Recommend the types of equipment to be considered by the company for acquisition
- Regular site visits to ensure the safety, quality and efficiency of our operations
- Actively represent the company at Industry Forums
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive “hands on” experience in contract management in mine site and quarry crushing operations
- Have demonstrated strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
- Section 44
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
- Quarry Manager Certificate (desirable)
Pre-Employment Medicals along with Drug and Alcohol screening will be conducted as part of the recruitment process and you will be subject to ongoing Drug & Alcohol Screening whilst employed.
